Taste the long summer of love.. Even they're not born in 1967...... Form in 1999 in the beautiful windy city of Jogjakarta. The name bangkutaman taken from a place in their University in Jogjakarta where they used to write poems and talking each other, to share some interest in music together. Bangkutaman's music preserve the tradition of 60s music in their jingle-jangle atmospheres of folkrock and psychedelic way. Their music sometimes compares with early works of bands like The Dentist, Rain Parade(member of the LA's paisley underground scene), and those early creation label bands like Big Bang Pow and Primal Scream, and the early works of psychedelic guitar pop like Stone Roses and Charlatans UK. They have released 3 Eps, 1 single and 1 album. their last EP, Garage of the soul has sold in Japan.
